MADISON – The Asbury Community Car Show will be held on April 11 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, 980 Hughes Road.

This open show is free to spectators. The entry fee for car owners is $20. All types of cars, trucks, motorcycles and even boats and planes can enter the show, coordinator Bill Gullatt said.

Children can play on inflatable amusements in The Kids Zone. Free food will be served.

The car show serves as a fundraiser for Asbury Auto Services ministry, which provides oil changes, routine maintenance and basic auto repair to the elderly, low income families and spouses of deployed service personnel.

In 2014, the show featured 114 cars and raised more than $1,400. The 2015 goal is 200-plus cars and $3,500 for the ministry, Gullatt said. The show is held rain or shine.
