Elementaries hold Aug. 3 open houses

MADISON – Madison’s seven elementary schools will conduct Open House for student families on the same day — Aug. 3.

Columbia Elementary School students will visit in intervals. Kindergarten is scheduled for 3 p.m. Grades 1-6 can visit between 4 and 6 p.m. (ces.madisoncity.k12.al.us).

At Heritage Elementary School, everyone should report to the cafeteria. Students with last names A-G can visit from 3:15 to 4 p.m. For last names H-O, the time slot is 4:15 to 5 p.m. Then, last names P-Z will visit from 5:15 to 6 p.m.

Orientation for Heritage’s new students will be held Aug. 3 at 3 p.m. in the media center. (hrtg.madisoncity.k12.al.us)

Horizon Elementary School’s Open House also will use intervals: kindergarten, 4 to 5 p.m.; second, fourth and sixth grades, 5 to 6 p.m.; and first, third and fifth grades, 6 to 7 p.m. (hrzn.madisoncity.k12.al.us)

Madison Elementary School’s staff will welcome students from 3 to 4 p.m. with last names A-M, followed at 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. for last names N-Z. Madison elementary’s infrastructure has undergone extensive refurbishment this summer. (mes.madisoncity.k12.al.us)

At Mill Creek Elementary School, Open House will be held for students with last names A-G from 3 to 3:45 p.m.; names H-O from 4 to 4:45 p.m.; and names letters P-Z from 5 to 5:45 p.m. (mces.madisoncity.k12.al.us)

Rainbow Elementary School’s Open House will be available from 3 to 4:15 p.m. for last names beginning with letters A-M and from 4:45 to 6 p.m. for last names N-Z. (res.madisoncity.k12.al.us)

Rainbow’s orientation for new students is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Aug. 3 in room 110.

Open House at West Madison Elementary School will be held for grades 5-6 is from 3 to 4 p.m. in the gym, followed by kindergarten, third and fourth grades from 4 to 4:45 p.m.; and first and second grades from 5 to 5:45 p.m. (wmes.madisoncity.k12.al.us)

All elementary and secondary students return to school on Aug. 5.

Madison City Schools First Class Pre-Kindergarten Center will conduct Open House on July 29 from 3 to 6 p.m.
