Niche ranks Madison schools sixth
MADISON – A national survey by Niche has rated Madison City Schools at sixth place in the “Best School Districts in Alabama.”
Niche, a national statistics and ranking organization, evaluates cities, schools and college. Niche ranks more than 100,000 public and private schools and districts based on dozens of statistics and 27 million opinions from 300,000 students and parents. (niche.com/rankings)
“Madison City Schools once again ranked near tops in a ‘best schools’ index of Alabama public school districts,” public relations manager John Peck said. “Every school in the Madison system received an A or A+ in individual evaluations.”
Birmingham suburbs captured four of the top five places with Homewood, Mountain Brook and Hoover and Vestavia Hills taking honors. Auburn City Schools ranked fourth. Rounding out Alabama’s Top 10 were Trussville, Hartselle, Cullman, and Muscle Shoals.
