Thanksgiving alters waste removal schedules

Waste removal will be postponed for some residents due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Madison County Sanitation is closed for Thanksgiving Day. Thursday garbage service will be provided Friday for residents in the City of Madison. Garbage service for Limestone County City of Madison residents will not be affected.

Allied Waste is closed for Thanksgiving Day. Trash service for yard debris and large items for Madison residents normally provided on Thursdays will be Friday. Friday’s route will run Saturday.

Recycling will not be affected.
