Triana Industries receives grant

By Staff
Gov. Don Siegelman has awarded a $95,345 grant to Triana Industries, a Madison County company, to provide employee training.
The grant will fund training designed to improve productivity, enable workers to better compete with foreign competition and lead to hiring 100 new workers in the next two to six years.
Triana Industries has operated in Madison County since 1972, manufacturing cables and wiring harnesses for the automotive and air conditioning industries. The company recently added 80,000 square feet to its facility and plans to expand its workforce to compete for larger business contracts.
