Calhoun announces its president's and dean's list
Calhoun Community College has announced the names of those students qualifying for the president's list and dean's list for the 2002 summer semester. Students from Madison County named to the president's list include Erica Hammond, Daniel Winch, and Benjamin Pepper. Students from Madison County named to the dean's list include Willie Durham, Paul Bryant, Robert Fisher, John Beddingfield, and Gary Sipps.
Calhoun to host writers' workshop
Calhoun Community College and the Calhoun Foundation will host a writers' workshop from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, in the Aerospace Training Center on the Decatur campus. The workshop will include three tracks in six sessions and optional one-on-one critique sessions and a writing contest. The workshop has a $75 registration fee, which includes choice of sessions, a continental breakfast and luncheon. There is an optional $20 critique session fee and a $15 optional writing contest fee.
