Women's club seeks sponsors

By Staff
The Providence Women's Club of Madison is seeking fundraiser sponsors and prize donors for its Kentucky Derby fundraiser next May.
The fundraiser will be held on May 2, 2003, at the Heritage Plantation Clubhouse in Madison. The benefit celebration will offer guests a day of festivities based on the derby theme, while helping raise money for quality-of-life improvements in the community. Proceeds will be given to the Madison Public Library and the Madison Fire Department to purchase lifesaving equipment.
Donated prizes will be awarded to the winners of the derby events such as celebrity horse races, a decorative hat contest and a silent auction. Each corporate prize donor will be recognized.
For more information or to donate a prize, call Gayla Agnes at 890-0798. For sponsorship information, call Cindy Ledbetter at 325-5576.
