Holiday schedule at Madison Public Library

There will be plenty to do at the Madison Public Library during the holiday season.
Here is a schedule of events during the month of December
* Dec. 10
Nutcracker ballet story time
Celebrate the season with an excerpt from the Community Ballet's "The Nutcracker." A special guest dancer will give guests a sneak peak at the holiday performance, costumes and portray the meaning of the classic holiday story. Tickets will be drawn for the show. The event is free and open to the public. It will be held at 6:30 p.m.
* Dec. 30
Celebrate Kwanzaa
Storytellers and students from Alabama A&M University and the Alabama State Black Archives will host an African celebration of Kwanzaa. Stories will be told and a variety of crafts honoring the special holiday will be on display. The event is free and open to the public. It will be held at 6:30 p.m.
