In keeping with tradition of showcasing some of Madison's most beautiful homes during the holiday season, the Madison Historical Preservation Society will present its annual "Christmas Tour of Homes" Sunday.
Society member Jeanne Steadman said the tour will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. and will feature five historic homes in the downtown area, along with The Round House at the Village Green, United Methodist Church of Madison and the new Clay House Museum on Main Street.
"Those who come to the tour will be able to enjoy seasonal music at 3 p.m., Steadman said. "At 4:30 p.m., the Hand Bell Choir at the Methodist church will perform."
Steadman said a bagpipe player will be on hand and to add to the seasonal charm of the event and a horse-drawn carriage ride will be offered.
Tickets to the Christmas Tour of Homes are $10 each and will be available on the day of the event. Advanced tickets may be purchased at the Madison Municipal Complex on Hughes Road, the Madison Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Caf, Beauty Market, Whitworth Realty and the Clay House Museum.
