Tennis clinics will be offered in Madison beginning Jan. 9.
Al Garret, director of the Madison Tennis Center, said USA National Junior Tennis League School Clinics would be held at Horizon Elementary School on Jan. 9, Rainbow Elementary School on Jan. 24 and West Madison Elementary School on March 4.
"These introductory clinics will include USA Tennis and the Professional Golf Association's First Tee Program," Garret said.
The Madison Tennis Center will also offer three USTA sanctioned junior tournaments and two USTA sanctioned adult tournaments.
The tennis center, located at Dublin Memorial Park, includes seven lighted tennis courts, including the usage of six additional courts at Bob Jones High School. Other services include a tennis, golf, and fitness program for families that home school, spring break tennis and golf clinics, summer tennis and golf camps, fall break tennis and golf clinics, child and parent classes, and adult classes.
The Southern Tennis Association and the Alabama Tennis Association will host a regional national junior tennis league rally in June.
