Dessert night out
The 2003 Dessert Night Out at Asbury United Methodist Church in Madison will be a two-night event. The dates are March 14 and March 15 at 7 p.m. Dessert Night Out is an evening of entertainment, desserts and fellowship that the C.H.R.I.S.T. Choir hosts in order to raise money for its summer mission tour. For more information, call Susan Hatcher, youth choir director, at 772 2991.
Grace UMC sets new hours
There will be a new Sunday studies class offered at Grace United Methodist Church for young adults to age 35. This class will be led by Nick Van Valkenburgh and will meet in the south end of the fellowship hall. Sunday studies classes will begin at 9:45 to 10:30 a.m. A new early worship has been added to the schedule that will be held at 8:30 a.m. The late worship service will begin its new start time at 10:45 a.m.
Messiah sets new service hours
Messiah Lutheran Church in Madison has set new service hours. They are 8:30 a.m., worship; 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., Sunday school; 11 a.m., service.
Greenbrier revival
Greenbrier Baptist Church will be holding its winter revival on Feb. 23-26 with evangelist Rich Tozour. The services will begin at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday and will continue Monday through Wednesday at 7 p.m. Greenbrier Baptist Church is located at 7939 Greenbrier Road in Madison. New members Sunday
New members will be received into Messiah Lutheran Church on Sunday. March 2. If you would like to be included in this group, call the church office at 721-0041.
North Alabama Living Free in Christ Conference
The North Alabama Living Free in Christ Conference, featuring Dr. Neil Anderson, will be held on March 5-8 at Whitesburg Baptist Church in Huntsville. The basic conference is free. An advanced workshop is offered with an early registration fee of $75. For more information, log on to www.nalfic.org.
