Deadline nears for nominations

Friday, Feb. 28, is the deadline to submit nominees for Madison's "Family of the Year" for 2002.
The committee is now actively working on the program for the 2002 calendar year.
Nomination forms and guidelines are available in the foyer of Madison City Hall and at www.ci.madison.al.us.
Selection criteria include community involvement, religious participation, school participation, civic participation, individual awards, achievements and recognition, and family cohesiveness.
Completed nominations must be postmarked by midnight, Friday, Feb. 28, 2003.
Recognition of the winning family consists of a formal recognition and awards ceremony on April 4.
