Carter among Jacksonville graduates Jacksonville State University announced that Candice Nicole Carter of Madison is among those who recently graduated during the school's spring commencement.
Ward, Porten earn award at Savannah College Benjamin Ward and Michael Porten of Madison have been awarded Best of Show for their collaborative piece at the Savannah College of Art Design Sidewalk Festival. The festival is all about using chalk to create artwork on sidewalks. Ward and Porten are both majoring in illustration and both graduated from Bob Jones High School. Savannah College of Art and Design is located in Savannah, Ga.
