The Madison Police Department reported the following arrests between May 23 and June 1. * Assualt – 1 (felony) * Driving Under the Influence – 7 (one was driving on the wrong side of the road) * Domestic Violence – 1 * Failure to Appear – 3 * Forgery and Giving False Info to Avoid Prosecution – 1 (felony) * Jumping Bail – 3 * Illegal Possession of a Credit Card – 1 (juvenile) * Minor in Consumption of Alcohol – 1 (juvenile) * Obstruction of Justice and Using False ID – 1 (felony) * Possession of a Forged Instrument – 1 (felony) * Possession of a Controlled Substance – 1 (felony) * Possession of Marijuana – 4 * Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – 3, 1 juvenile * Public Drunkenness – 2 * Theft of Property and Receiving Stolen Property – 1 (felony) * Violation of Probation – 3

There were 29 electrical permits issued for a total of $746.80. There were 17 gas permits issued for a total of $188.50. There were three home occupation permits issued for a total of $112.50. There were 15 mechanical permits issued for a total of $342. There was one miscellaneous permit issued for a total of $2.30. There were 16 plumbing permits issued for a total of $970. One permit was issued for a swimming pool at $25. There were five permits issued for signs totaling $167.50.
The grand total for all permits issued between May 23 and June 1 was 118 for $9,564.86.
