* Stepko graduates from USAF Academy * Welt graduates from Air Force Academy * Dickens completes Marine basic
Stepko graduates from USAF Academy Air Force Cadet Laura A. Stepko of Madison has graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. She received a bachelor's of science degree in biochemistry and was commissioned as a second lieutenant.
Stepko is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Stepko of Madison and is a 1999 graduate of Bob Jones High School.
She will be assigned as a chemist at Patrick Air Force Base, Cocoa Beach, Fla.
Welt graduates from Air Force Academy Air Force Cadet David T. Welt, son of John and Jeanne Welt of Madison, has graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. He received a bachelor's of science degree in geography and was commissioned as a second lieutenant. He also received the Outstanding Cadet in Geography Award for the 2003 class. The award recognizes Welt's outstanding scholastic achievement in geography. Welt is scheduled to attend undergraduate pilot training at Columbus Air Force Base in Columbus, Miss. He is a 1999 graduate of Bob Jones High School.
Dickens completes Marine basic Marine Corps Pfc. Jonathan L. Dickens, son of Barbara S. and David L. Dickens of Madison, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. Dickens is a 2001 graduate of Hazel Green High School.
