Elton Keith Thames

Elton Keith Thames, (Retired SFC, US Army) died May 11, 2010 in Huntsville.
A native of Pelahatchee, Miss. he has lived in Madison for many years moving from Huntsville. A Korean War Veteran, he worked as a senior electronics technician with UAH, after his retirement from the US Army. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine; son, Keith Thames and his wife, Tracey of Owens Cross Roads; daughter, Jeri Lynn Francis of Madison; sister, Marian Massey of Madison, Miss.; grandchildren, Charlotte Cottrell of Syracuse, NY; Morgan and Jordan Thames of Athens; great grandchildren, Frank Lanzafame, of Madison and Damien Cottrell, of Syracuse, NY.
Graveside services were held May 14 at Madison Memory Gardens with Rev. Mark Borseth officiating.
Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery. Online condolences may be made at madisonchapelfuneralhome.com.
