Joe Barton; Sept. 18, 2010

Joe Alexander Barton, 87, of Madison passed away Sept. 18.

Mr. Barton was a graduate of the Naval Academy Class of 1945 and was a veteran of World War II. He served in the Pacific Theatre. He was in the private aerospace industry for over 30 years.

Survivors include his wife, Gay Barton of Madison; daughter, Lisa Bradley of Austin, Texas; two sons, Chris Barton of Dallas and Bob Barton and wife Kathrine of Orlando, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Laughlin Service Funeral Home is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Bible Church.
