Edna Bragg; Oct. 2, 2010

Edna Pearline Bragg, 91, went home to be with her Lord on Oct. 2, 2010 at Ardmore on Main, Ardmore, Tenn.

She was born on October 3, 1918 in McConell, Ky., to Louis Walter Johnson and Lola Alice Bush Johnson. Mrs. Bragg was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Rev. Ernest W. Bragg, her son: Ray Bragg and a granddaughter in law: Joy Bragg. Survivors include her daughter in law: Dot Bragg of Decatur; 3 grandsons: Todd Bragg of Huntsville; Brian Bragg of Decatur and Cory Bragg of Tampa, Florida; 5 great grandsons; 1 great granddaughter; 8 great great grandchildren; 5 nephews and special niece, Phyllis Schrimsher and her husband, Bobby; special friends J. O. and Shirley Wallace. Visitation began at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010 at Madison Chapel Funeral Home with a funeral service at 2 pm. Brother James Kidd officiated. Interment was at Gatlin Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at madisonchapelfuneralhome.com.
