Darryl Rhen; Oct. 15, 2010

Darryl Jon “Skeeter” Rhen, 59, of Madison passed away Friday. Darryl Rhen, a veteran for his country, was a recent retiree from Aviation and Missile Command, AMCOM.

He is survived by his wife, Claudia L. Rhen; two daughters, Allison “Brandi” Rhen and Deidre “D.J.” Rhen; two grandchildren, Kaelin and Kelsey; and sisters, Tami Buckner and Lori Valentine; and numerous extended family members.

Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Nelms Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at noon Friday at First Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Julius R. Scruggs officiating for his Huntsville friends and family.

For his St. Louis friends, visitation with the family will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. from the Austin Renaissance Chapel. Funeral services will be held at noon Oct. 27 from the Austin Renaissance Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Brown officiating. Interment will be at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
