Betty Brockway; Nov. 5, 2010

Betty Avery Caldwell Brockway, 74, of Madison passed away Friday, Nov. 5.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. E.W. and Hazel Avery; husbands, Pete Caldwell and Fred H. Brockway; and one daughter, Sharon Caldwell Primeau. She is survived by five sons, Charles Bruce Caldwell and fianceé Sarah Lawson, Fred Brockway, Bob Brockway, Tom Brockway and Ed Brockway; daughter, Brenda Dawkins; three brothers, Charles Avery and wife Toby, Buddy Avery and wife Charita and Bob Avery; and five grandchildren, Pete, Jason, Ben, Amanda and Craig.

Visitation was Nov. 8 from noon until the start of chapel services at 2 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Interment followed at Madison Cross Roads Cemetery.
