Real estate agency assists senior center

Rise agent Melissa Goodly with Vicki Parker and Joy Edwards, administrators from the Senior Center.

Agents at Rise Real Estate, Inc. have been collecting items to donate to the senior center to help alleviate cost expenses.

The items, which include snacks, canned goods, candles and gift cards, will be given away as prizes during bingo on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

“We decided to give back to community and thought the Senior Center would be an excellent opportunity,” said Melissa Goodly, a Realtor at Rise. “The more we give, the less the Senior Center has to spend on those types items.”

The idea to give to the center came from a sales meeting about how the agents could give back to the community.  Goodly said they have been giving to the center quarterly and want to continue to do it for years to come.
