Schools to let out at 11 a.m. today due to winter weather threat

Due to potential hazardous weather conditions, Madison City Schools and Madison County Schools will dismiss Wednesday, Dec.15 at 11 a.m.

Madison City’s elementary schools will dismiss at 11:45 a.m.

Buses will run as usual.  All after school activities for Wednesday are canceled.

Madison Academy will also dismiss at 11 a.m. tomorrow.

Madison City Schools Superintendent Dr. Dee Fowler said there is a possibility school will be canceled for the entire day. He said they will be closely monitoring weather conditions.
