Samples joins Record staff

The Madison Record has a new family member.

Madison native Laura Stallcup Samples joined the staff in October as office manager.

“Laura is a very impressive individual who has had great success,” said Erica Slone, president and publisher. “She understands the importance of serving the customer and how crucial the link is between advertisers and the community. She is an excellent addition to our staff and more so to the community the newspaper serves.”

After graduating from Bob Jones High School, Samples attended the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, where she graduated with a bachelor’s of music.

She currently freelances her musical skills.
