Donald Murphy Sr.; Dec. 4, 2010

Donald Gregory Murphy Sr., 77, of Madison died Saturday, Dec. 4.

He is survived by his wife Dolores Murphy; four sons, Donald Murphy and wife Dianne, Mike Murphy and wife Betty, Mark Murphy and wife Misti and Matt Murphy and wife Dana; three daughters, Susan Boni and husband Joe, Karen Jones and husband Mike, Nancy Murphy and friend Stacey Wilkes; one brother, Patrick Murphy; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, with Father Phil O’Kennedy officiating. A reception followed. Interment was in Madison City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Family Care of St. Vincent’s DePaul in care of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Madison. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
