Yolanda Miller; Dec. 27, 2010

Yolanda Jean Miller, 63, of Huntsville passed away early Monday morning, Dec. 27, 2010.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, and son, Douglas Ronald Miller.

Born in Seattle, Washington, she formerly lived in Alexandria, Va. She worked as a Reference Librarian at the Pentagon Library from 1996 until her retirement in May of 2008. She was one of the survivors of the attack on the Pentagon on 9/11. Survivors include her husband: Col. (Ret.) William B. “Bill” Miller; Daughter: Mary Stewart and husband Jason, of Hampton Cove; Son: Paul Daniel Miller, Huntsville; Sister: Paula Hyden and husband Ed Goldberg of Washington, D.C.; Brothers: Douglas Hyden and wife Carol of Tallahassee, FL.; Ronald Hyden and wife Janet of San Angelo, Texas; Granddaughter: Mia Wilson, of Hampton Cove.

Memorial Services were held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010 at Madison Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Phil O’Kennedy officiating.
