Bob Jones boys advance to regionals

Defending state champion, Bob Jones, earned another trip to regionals after defeating Hazel Green 64-55.

“We did what we had to do to win the game,” said Coach Danny Perry.

Levi Randolph led the team with 17 points and eight rebounds. Reggie Ragland was a close second with 16 points and six rebounds.

“Our offense moved the ball well,” Perry said.

Two other Patriots also scored points in the double digits. Jeffery Moss scored 15 and Cade Johnson scored 14.

Lewis Sullivan led the Trojans with 18 points.

Perry said he was also proud of his defense for taking care of the ball against a good team.

“Hazel Green plays tough,” Perry said. “They know how to play basketball.”
