Bob Jones scholars set state record

Five Bob Jones High School students have been nominated as presidential scholar nominees for 2010-2011.

“Five is the most of any school in the state,” Principal Robby Parker said. “It is a great honor and there will only be 141 named nationally.”

To qualify as presidential scholar a 35 or higher is required on the ACT.

The five Bob Jones students will travel to Montgomery for an interview and the finalist will be named.

Those named as presidential scholars will win a trip to Washington D.C. and dinner with President Barack Obama.

Jacob Morris

Wayne You

Kelsey White
