Three men arrested in Madison on burglary, theft charges

Three men have been arrested in Madison on burglary and receiving stolen  property charges.

The Madison City Police Department responded to a burglary in progress on Paul Revere Dr., April 18.

Witnesses told police officers that the offender fled in a gold sport utility vehicle and did provide a vehicle tag number.

Nearby Detectives located the aforementioned vehicle at a residence on Honor Way. After a brief investigation, detectives were able to locate and recover several stolen items from an earlier burglary on Paul Revere Drive.

Suspects John Underwood, 23, was arrested and charged with burglary third degree and theft of property second degree. Tavaris Fullenwider, 30, was charged with receiving stolen property first degree. Gerrad Bradford, 20, was charged with receiving stolen property first degree.

Additional information obtained has led detectives to believe that these individuals are suspects in a number of additional burglaries in the Madison area.

Underwood has had multiple involvements with the Madison City Police Department, and was currently on bond for previous burglaries, receiving stolen property and theft of property.

“Our police officers do a fantastic job of deterring criminal activity, investigating crimes, and arresting offenders, but we could not continue to be effective without the active involvement of the community,” said Chief Larry Muncey.
