Philip Carlisle; May 13, 2011

The Rev. Philip Barry Carlisle, 58, of Madison passed away Friday, May 13.

Mr. Carlisle had been a minister since 1972. He was a school bus driver for 18 years with Madison City Schools.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Carlisle; two sons, Nathan Andrew Carlisle and wife Leah and Daniel Ray Carlisle; daughter, Beth Smitherman and husband Roy; brother Ronald Carlisle and Janice; and two sisters, Judy Allread and husband Kent and Marilyn Melbourne.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 16 at Berryhill Funeral Home. The Rev. David Patrick officiated. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Ky. Visitation was from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 15.

Donations may be made to American Diabetes Association .
