Micah Scott; May 30, 2011

Micah Lauren Scott of Madison passed away Monday, May 30, 2011.

She was 11.

Micah was a fourth-grade student at Rainbow Elementary School. She attended Asbury United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her father, Jason R. Scott of Madison; mother, Amanda L. Chambers Scott of Madison; sister, Jacey Elizabeth Scott of Madison; grandparents, Dan J. and Brenda H. Scott and Bobby J. and Shirley J. Chambers, all of Holly Pond; great-grandparents, Elizabeth Chambers of Holly Pond; and lots of loving friends and family.

Micah was truly a miraculous gift from God loaned to us for a little while.

Miraculous not only in the way she lived life to the fullest but also in the number of lives she touched in her few short years. Our lives have been richly blessed because she was here.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 2 at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Holly Pond. The Rev. Randy Burtram and the Rev. Larry Nail will conduct the service. Interment will follow in Holly Pond Cemetery.
