Horizon hosts Summer Reading Program

Horizon Elementary School is inviting fourth, fifth and sixth graders to attend its Summer Reading Program.

Sessions are Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Someone will be at the light to escort the children across the street at 8:50 a.m. They will e walked back across the street at 11 a.m. If parents are driving their children, the kids can be dropped off at 9 a.m. and picked up at 11 a.m.

The program will focus on summer reading selection, AR, Math Facts, small group skill focus and SuccessMaker. Students are encouraged to read and take an AR test. Mrs. Ashley will have book checkout at the end of each session.
