Free concert this Thursday in Madison

Thursday, The Madison Arts Council will present Ragen Ivey, country vocalist.

The event will start at 6:30 p.m. on the Village Green in downtown Madison.

There will be face painting, pizza and ice cream, so kids and friends are encouraged.

Ragen Ivey is veteran vocalist, and has opened for country music legends such as the Charlie Daniels Band, Joe Diffey, George Jones, Tammy Wynette and Vince Gill.  He has also played with his former band, Renegade, on the stage of the Grand Old Opry.  When Ivey was actively pursuing a musical career, he won the “True Value Country Music Showdown.”

Ivey is a charismatic vocalist who wins the audience with his performance of classic country favorites.

The MAC Gazebo Summer Concert Series offers the Madison County community an opportunity to enjoy a vast array of musical entertainment, free! The event is held every Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m., June through August on the Village Green in historic downtown Madison.
