Man arrested on more than 100 counts of sexual abuse

Huntsville Police officers have arrested a Harvest man on more than 90 counts of sexual abuse.

Noraddin Alzoqari has 104 counts total pending against him, including 55 counts of sexual abuse to a child, 44 counts of sex with a child under 12, three sodomy charges and two counts of enticing a child for immoral purposes.

Police say Alzoqari previously had a bond set of $2.4 million, but is no longer eligible for bond because of the nature of his offenses.

He was arrested because of the evidence discovered in a joint investigation by the MCSO and The HPD. The MCSO began the investigation into the actions of  Alzoqari and requested that the HPD assist in the investigation.

The offender actions were discovered due to a child under the age of 12 at the time informing other family members of the offender’s actions against her.

The investigation has reviled the offender has been sexually abusing the child over the last two years.

He is a resident of Harvest.
