Amanda Holland aligned with goals

Many people go through life and never experience their true calling.

Dr. Amanda Lockhart Holland is one of the few to find her absolute life’s work.

Friends, family, and her chiropractic staff at Aligned Chiropractic describe Holland as “energized” and “enthusiastic in practice.”

She opened the doors to Aligned Chiropractic in April of this year. Aligned offers a variety of spinal-correction techniques utilizing “state of the art” chiropractic instrument adjusting tools and tables.

“This gives me the ability to customize my adjusting technique to each patient’s specific need,” Holland said.

Aligned also has a spinal decompression traction for neck and lower back problems, two adjusting rooms with different adjusting instruments and tables customized to each patient.

Aligned also offers ultrasound, muscle stim therapies and massage therapy.

She has been working in the chiropractic field since she was 17, starting as a part-time chiropractic assistant for a fourth-generation chiropractor.

After obtaining her doctorate in Chiropractic, she continued her education and completed a master’s of sports health science.

Holland passed all four parts of the National Boards, and Physiotherapy.  She is licensed in Chiropractic Medicine in Alabama and in Florida. Taking some time to raise her three sons, Holland continued in the field of chiropractic as a relief doctor for high-volume chiropractors in North Alabama.

She has been married to Stephen B. Holland for 14 years. They have three boys, the older sons attend Madison City schools with the youngest enjoying Asbury Weekday, where they are members.

Stephen is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and is a civil servant on Redstone Arsenal.

Holland was born and raised in Guin. She graduated Life University with a Doctorate in Chiropractic in 1993 and earned a master’s degree in Sports Health Science in 1994.

“Whether you need an injury or accident treated, have a specific body problem, need pain relief, or just want to improve your overall health, Aligned Chiropractic may have a solution for you,” she said.

Aligned Chiropractic is open Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays by appointment starting at 7 a.m.
