UAH student hit by car

Around 12:30pm emergency crews responded to the scene of an accident at Holmes Avenue and Erskine Street in Huntsville on the UAH campus.

Witnesses say a female student was crossing the street in front of the UAH library when she was  hit by a vehicle.

The driver that struck her got of the vehicle got out to check on her condition when another car rear-ended the first car.

Her condition is unknown. Stay tuned for updates as they come in.
