Rite Aid robbed at gun point

K9 units search for the robbery suspects

The Rite Aid Pharmacy located at 444 Wynn Drive in Huntsville was robbed by two armed men around 8:30 this morning. According to witnesses the the two men, (one armed with a handgun the other with what they described to be an UZI sub-machine gun) walked to the pharmacy counter and pointed guns in the faces of two clerks and demanded money and drugs, then they ran off. HEMSI was called to the scene to check the condition of the clerks, but were not taken to the hospital. Huntsville Police brought in a K-9 unit to try and track the suspects but were unable to locate them. Investigators have pulled surveillance video and will be going through it today.  The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and medication
