Teen sexually assaulted in Madison

A teenage girl was sexually assaulted on Tuesday night as she left work at Hastings Coffee Shop located on Highway 72 in Madison.

The victim told investigators the offender was a white man between five feet, eight inches and six feet tall weighing 170 to 200 pounds. The offender has reddish-blond hair cut short and blue eyes. He was wearing a green shirt, blue jeans, a mask and boots at the time of the assault. If anyone has any information please contact the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and notify the Criminal Investigations Division immediately by calling 256-533-8820.
