Judith Anne Meiers; Feb. 8, 2012

Judith Anne Meiers, 65, of Madison, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8 at her residence.

Mrs. Meiers was born Sept. 5, 1946 in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. to Harold and Louise Trethaway. Mrs. Meiers was retired former director of the Madison Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ret. LTC William Meiers. She is survived by two daughters, Debra Hicks of San Diego, Calif. and Patricia Meiers of Madison, a granddaughter Kayla Braxton of Madison, two brothers William Trethaway of Mechanicsburg, Pa. and Robert Trethaway of St. Simon Island, Ga.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 11, 11 a.m. at Madison Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Madison City Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 10 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Madison Chapel.
