Ananise Ervin Sr.; Feb. 19, 2012

Ananise Ervin Sr., 68, of Madison was born to the late Georgia Bailey and Harvey Ervin Sr. in Limestone County.

He passed away Sunday at the Huntsville Hospital. He was a member of Mt. Zion P.B. Church.

Loving survivors include his daughters, Dennice Ervin of Madison and Anna Mae (William) Evans of Columbus, Md.; son, Ananise Ervin Jr. of Harvest; sisters, Eliza (Rev. Roy) Ayers of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Arbellar Rodgers of Ardmore and Georgia Hewlett of Huntsville; brothers, Bobby Ervin of Tennessee, Robert and Willie Ervin Sr. of Huntsville, Billy (Jacqueline) Ervin of Harvest and Starling Ervin of Madison; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral services will be at noon on Saturday, Feb. 25 at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church with Pastor Mylon Burwell officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery. Mr. Ervin will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24 at the Royal Chapel of Memories.
