Sparks re-launches Ad4! with Chamber

Ad4 Group incorporates the talents of some of the area’s best graphic designers, social media specialist and media producers, providing cutting-edge marketing and branding strategies to local and regional businesses.

Ad4! Group, a local marketing and advertising agency, has officially re-launched with the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce.

Owner Felicia Sparks started the business in 2004 and became a chamber member in 2005, but never had an official ribbon cutting until Feb. 9.

“A large part of what I do is to coordinate everybody else’s ribbon cuttings, so this was really surreal for me,” Sparks said. “To have so many people show up… it turned out to be a huge event.”

The ribbon cutting was held at the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce.

She’s been a chamber member since 2005. Sparks said the Ad4 Group incorporates the talents of some of the area’s best graphic designers, social media specialist and media producers, providing cutting-edge marketing and branding strategies to local and regional businesses.

“I am very passionate about helping businesses understand the importance of a well-produced marketing plan,” Sparks said. “Strategic branding is vital to the success of a business’ advertising efforts,” she said.

Before starting Ad4!, Sparks was in banking. She was involved with many commercial accounts’ business growth and planning. One of her clients, Venton Newton Advertising, one of the biggest advertising agencies in Huntsville, hired her as an office manager. After working there for 12 years, she ventured off and started her own business.

“I saw a need for helping local small companies,” she said. “Ad agencies have to go after larger companies. I went after small companies.”

She said she has been a small business advocate since she was 8 years old, when she opened a lemonade stand in her neighborhood.

“You’re not going to find a more enthusiastic and energized chamber member as in Felecia,” said Patricia McCarter, communications director. “She’s been involved in a number of ways, whether it’s helping people celebrate their own success or taking part in many networking events.”

McCarter said the chamber is delighted to have her as a member and “very happy” that she’s finally in a place that she can celebrate her own success.
