Tami Grant recommends ‘nutritionals you can trust’

Tami Grant is affiliated with USANA Health Services.

Tami Grant is promoting her new business that literally translates into “true health.”

Grant is affiliated with USANA Health Services. “‘USANA’ is not an acronym but comes from Greek and Latin roots meaning ‘true health,'” she said.

USANA, a direct marketing company, manufactures three product lines, pharmaceutical-grade nutritional supplements and energy products, along with providing weight management.

The company also formulates a skincare line, Sensé, without added chemical preservatives. USANA’s motto is “Nutritionals you can trust.”

Internationally recognized microbiologist and immunologist Dr. Myron Wentz founded USANA in 1992. “I was using USANA products as a customer, and I began to notice improved health for myself and my family,” Grant said. She became an associate to share this news with others.

“I’m excited that USANA has recently joined forces with Dr. Mehmet Oz and HealthCorps to educate teens about fighting obesity,” she said.

Grant was introduced to the products by taking a “Healthy for Life” class that another USANA associate led. “I experienced amazing results with the weight management products,” she said. Grant taught a similar class to help others lose weight and improve their health.

Currently, Grant is in training as a health coach and leads her own 12-week health class, “Get Healthy,” that explains permanent lifestyle changes.

“Many inflammation-related diseases (cancer, heart disease, type 2 diabetes) have been linked to poor nutrition. People don’t become unhealthy overnight, so any lifestyle change must be gradual and something you can live with day to day to succeed,” she said.

“Teaming up with an established company like USANA provided a business plan and training from experienced and knowledgeable leaders,” she said. Direct marketing is a growing business model, which allows individuals “to own their own business without the tremendous overhead costs of a traditional retail store.”

Grant recommends USANA an excellent way for healthcare providers or personal trainers to provide high quality products to customers and “add another stream of income to their existing business.”
