Madison City Farmers Market opens Saturday

Madison City Farmers Market will open its season on April 14 at 1282 Hughes Road, adjacent to Discovery Middle School’s south campus.

Thanks to warm temperatures, the market is opening early this year. From 8 a.m. to noon, vendors will sell local strawberries, spring produce, flowers, bedding plants, home-baked goods, goat cheese, eggs, fresh herbs, honey, relishes, jams and jellies.
