Josef Seifert; April 4, 2012

Josef W. Seifert, age 77, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2012.

Mr. Seifert was a member of the Presbyterian Church and a graduate of the University of Michigan Business College. Josef was a loving husband and father.

He was a contractor with the U. S. Government at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Fla. and worked as Senior Systems Analyst with IBM for 25 years.

Mr. Seifert is survived by his wife Shirley Seifert of Madison; his children, Cynthia Marcum of Englewood, Ohio, William Duff of Glenford, Ohio, and Scott Duff of Pickerington, Ohio; his niece, Patricia Shroeder of Kalamazoo, Mich.; his dear cousin, Robert Borgeman of Grand Haven, Mich.; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorial services were held on Friday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville with Rev. Steven Butler officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Clearview Cancer Institute of Huntsville.
