YMCA evacuated due to gas smell

YMCA evacuated Friday morning.

The Hogan Family YMCA has been evacuated due to the smell of gas. Firefighters are on the scene. More to follow.

 

UPDATE:

Officials from the Madison Fire and Rescue said the YMCA has re-opened.

Public Information Officer Stacy Haraway said they could not pinpoint what caused the smell, but said it was not a natural gas leak.

 

It was a natural gas leak, someone smelled some type of odor. Nothing they can pick up on.
