MSG (Ret.) James L. Berryman; April 17, 2012

MSG (Retired) James L. Berryman, Sr., 69, of Madison, passed away Tuesday, April 17.

Mr. Berryman was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and was a very strong man who fought to the end. He retired from the Army after 23 years of service to his country, and during that time he received numerous medals. He was preceded in death by a son, James L. Berryman, Jr., and a grandson.

Survivors include his wife, Yong Suk Berryman; sons, Sydney of N.C., Kevin and wife, Jackie, of N.C., and Anthony of Madison; six grandsons; one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 19 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service was at 11 a.m. Friday, April 20 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Paul VanManen officiating. Burial was in Madison Memory Gardens.
