Palmer Road crash claims life Sunday morning.

One person has died in a single car accident on Palmer Road in Madison.

The accident happened around 2 AM Sunday morning near Palmer Park.

Authorities had to shut down Palmer Road between County Line Road and Wall Triana for over two hours.

According to Madison Police it appears the driver lost control of the vehicle, and it went off a bridge, flipped and landed upside down in a ditch. Rescue personnel  had to cut the victim out of the car.

The name of the driver will not been released until the family has been notified.
