Mackinsey Lu Karman was born May 7, 2012 at Huntsville Women and Childrens Hospital to Erik Karman and Sarah Hare of Madison.

Mackinsey weighed seven pounds four ounces and measured 20 inches.

Grandparents are John and Luann Hare of Somerville; Alan and Catherine Smith of Madison; and  Eveline Karman of Huntsville.
