Ribbon cutting to dedicate library’s teen room

Madison Public Library will host a ribbon cutting for the newly renovated Teen Room on Aug. 15 at 9 a.m. State Rep. Mike Ball’s donation helped to pay for needed shelving. Library and elected officials will attend the meeting

The Madison Public Library will host a magic show June 14 and fossil exhibit June 16.

Branch manager Sarah Sledge describes the room’s furnishings as “modern minimalist.” The Teen room has leather egg chairs, stools, a low-slung sofa, cafe table and an octopus rug.
