Madison Hospital’s first baby returns

Shari Crowe, registered nurse and clinical operations manager of obstetrics, holds the first baby born at Madison Hospital on the baby's return visit Wednesday.

The first baby born at Madison Hospital returned for a joyous visit on Wednesday.

Paige Harper McLemore, who was born June 6, was presented with a silver cup, which Huntsville Hospital’s first baby Buddy Miller recommended.

Miller received a silver cup from Huntsville Hospital celebrating his birth and thought Madison Hospital should follow suit. Miller was born June 11, 1926.

Paige and her parents Erin and Josh McLemore of Athens also visited the photographs of newborn Paige that continue to bring smiles to the faces of the staff and patients at the hospital.
