Emerie August Swain was born Feb. 13, 2013 at Madison Hospital to David Swain of Currituck, N.C. and Sarah Swain from Murfreesboro, Tenn.

She weighed 8.4 pounds and measured 20 inches.

Grandparents are Melissa and Eddie Ketron of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and Jenny and David Swain of Currituck, NC.

Emerie has one sister, Piper Swain, two.
